Make It: 3D Modeling

August 12, 2017 @ 1:30 pm - August 13, 2017 @ 5:30 pm

3D modeling is when you use software to make a three dimensional model of something on a computer. Once you create a model you can use it for all sorts of things like 3D printing, animation, or even importing it to Minecraft! In this workshop you will learn how to use TinkerCAD, a free, web based 3D modeling program. This workshop is open to kids and adults who want to learn how to do 3D modeling at home.

Recommended for ages 7 and older.

Free with NYSCI admission.

This workshop will be held on the following dates:
Saturday, August 12; 1:30 – 2:30 pm, 3 – 4 pm & 4:30 – 5:30 pm
Sunday, August 13; 1:30 – 2:30 pm, 3 – 4 pm & 4:30 – 5:30 pm

Maker Space is made possible thanks to an investment by Cognizant through its Making the Future education initiative.
