Join Biny in the APEC kitchen as she transports you to Bangladesh through its colorful and flavorful cuisine! Born and raised in Queens NY – she has been an avid cook with a passion for all things food for over 10 years, recently offering cooking classes out of her own home kitchen! She is excited to share some of the bold flavors of Bengali cuisine.

We will be cooking a traditional Chicken Curry – and you’ll be very surprised to learn that it involves no actual “CURRY”! To have along with this, we will prepare a classic DAAL or lentil soup that is served over rice and is a staple of the Bengali diet. Rich in vitamins and nutrients, this meal provides a hearty welcome to your palate. We will also enjoy some hot Chai tea – very different from what you may order from the coffee shop and some yummy Bengali sweets!
