Ghana Cooking with Chef Charles Cann

In this class, Chef Charles Cann, of the Tropical Ghana Cooking Project and cookbook author of Tropical Ghana Delights, will be teaching how to make one of Ghana’s popular soups – Ghana’s Chicken Light Soup - a light tomato base soup that’s fiercely loaded with nutrients, very aromatic while providing the needed energy on any given day. Ages 8 and up (children must be accompanied by adult) Walk through APEC’s trails, accompanied by a member of Queens County Bird Club. Try to spot our various species of birds – both the year-round residents and the multitudes of warblers migrating through at this time. Listen for their songs.
