TCS Happiness Group: Gratitude

Gratitude is an ongoing practice and catalyst to experiencing joy. Every day is a gift and without gratitude, life can be difficult to face. With the holidays approaching, we’ll look at how to practice gratitude and be mindful about the large and small things in our lives that you have to be thankful for. With this practice you experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems. Jewish tradition encourages us to practice hakarat ha-tov (recognizing the good thing in our lives). And since the holidays are a time when we give and receive gifts, it is a particularly good time to practice hakarat ha-tov. Together we’ll explore how you can easily incorporate gratitude into your daily routines and holiday traditions.

We’ll learn from Orly Dotan about her family tradition of creating a Gratitude Tree as their holiday table centerpiece, adding daily leaves with her children as expressions of gratitude.

Event is FREE and open to all (members/non-members).
