The 13th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park in Oyster Bay will take place on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 5:30pm to 8:00pm. Everyone is invited to experience Planting Fields Arboretum in all its’ winter splendor. The Arboretum gates will open at 5:30 pm. At 6:00 pm sharp, the magnificent thirty-five foot Japanese Umbrella Pine on the south side of the Camelia Greenhouse will be lit by Santa while the Twin Shores Chorus sings holiday carols. Afterwards, you can visit with Santa in the Hay Barn until 7:30 pm.

From 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm you can tour Coe Hall and view the exquisite holiday decorations. The Main Greenhouse will be open so you can see the spectacular poinsettia displays featuring seven varieties of poinsettias. Also, don’t forget to stop by Coffeed Inc. and enjoy some holiday refreshments.
