Music For Peace, an itty-bitty family music festival to celebrate International Day of Peace, will be back on the Village Green in Rockville Centre on Sunday, September 17th from 10am-2pm. Join us to set an intention for peace with yoga and meditation led by Come Together Yoga, make music with your little one with Music Together recording artist “Uncle” Gerry Dignan, spread love and inspiration by painting a Kindness Rock and rock out to the sounds of Long Beach’s The Katie Mitchell Band (as in, Miss Katie!!). And that’s not all! Come do a craft with Macaroni Kid, find your drum jam with Jim Oshinsky and do a little shopping, too. Admission is $5 per person (with a maximum $15 per family). All proceeds will benefit the Family & Children’s Association in Hempstead. More vendors and activities are being added every day, so keep checking back. Hope to see you all there!
