The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Long Island State Park Region will be hosting the 32nd Annual New York State Beach Cleanup in cooperation with the American Littoral Society and sponsored by the National Heritage Trust.

The International Coastal Cleanup is a global effort, under the international umbrella of the Ocean Conservancy, in which over 100 countries participate. New York State Parks will hold this event at the following State Parks:

Hallock 9/16 & 9/17
Heckscher 9/16
Hempstead Lake 9/16
Hither Hills 9/16
Jones Beach 9/16
Orient Beach 9/16 & 9/17
Montauk Point 9/16
Nissequgoue 9/16
Robert Moses 9/16
Sunken Meadow 9/16
Wildwood 9/16

If you would like to volunteer to help protect your seashore please call the park directly for more specific information. Certificates will be provided for each participant. See you at the park!
