Families are invited to take an educational walk with us to explore the Preserve’s beautiful pond and beach, which are representative of Long Island’s wetlands. After, gather inside Castle Gould to discover the important role that wetlands play in our environment through hands-on water filtration and coast erosion experiments. Learn about local animals’ fall habits in our story time, bury and find play turtle eggs in the sand, and create a wetland creature craft to take home.
