Calling all anglers!

The 2017 South Shore Classic started today at 12 noon and will run through 12 noon Sunday, October 15. The award ceremony will be at 12:30pm at Captree State Park.

Sign up at Captree Fuel, Bait & Tackle by 9 am tomorrow, Saturday, October 14. The registration fee is $15.

This tournament awards $750 to the heaviest striped bass and bluefish caught in the waters between the West End of Jones Beach and the east jetty of Moriches Inlet. The 2nd and 3rd place winners will receive equipment prizes. The three longest released striped bass will win equipment prizes.
