SOPHIA LOREN and MARCELLO MASTROIANNI became one of the most dynamic film couples of the 20th century during the Golden Age of Italian cinema. This multimedia presentation unveils the personal stories of both Sophia and Marcello, and exams the impact of their work in the 17 films made together.

Marilyn Carminio worked for many years at an international law firm where she developed and presented client service-training programs. She began her career as a NYC schoolteacher and went on to hold various positions at women’s magazines such asCosmopolitan, where she worked for Helen Gurley Brown,Elle Magazine, and New Woman. She has lectured at over 100 venues including: The Hutton House Lecture Series at C.W. Post, libraries throughout Long Island, the Roslyn Historical Society, Meadowbrook Pointe in Westbury, the Meadowbrook Women’s Initiative, Hadassah groups and women’s clubs.

Marilyn puts her heart and soul into preparing her multimedia presentations. She selects subjects for which she has a passion, which is richly conveyed through to the audience.
