Afternoon TEA: Lois Morton 20th Century Girl

May 24, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us for an afternoon of entertainment by this incredible singer-songwriter and conveyor of songs that go to the heart of modern society. Lois Morton is a plucky, sassy songster who writes laugh-out-loud funny material that sparkles with wit and the glow of truth. Her dense swath of words is so quick that Gilbert and Sullivan would smile with approval and maybe envy. She zeroes in on observations, situations and irritations that surround and confound us in our daily loves with razor sharp, wickedly clever lyrics that remind us of Tom Lehrer. Sit back, relax and enjoy the fun.

All tea refreshments provided thanks to SerendipiTEA. Baked goods courtesy of Coffeed Port Washington.

FREE admission to Afternoon TEA is made possible by the support of the Manhasset Community Fund, Greentree Foundation “Good Neighbor” Fund and the New York Community Bank Foundation.
